Yukon Wilderness

The Yukon is a vast tract of remote wilderness in Canada of mountains, rivers, tundra and thick forests. Here some 17000 bears roam free and in September visit the Teslin River to catch spawning salmon. Sian Leeper has captured this scene ” in the round” on her 16 inch vase on the 18 shape. Bright autumn leaves and succulent blackberries set the scene for this family of bears.
