Big Friendly Giant Steiff

Steiff ‘The Big Friendly Giant’ (BFG) is a gorgeous bear made from the finest pale mohair.
He is 5-way jointed with a round face with big ears, shiny eyes, eyebrows and hand stitched brown embroidered mouth and nose – and he is embroidered on one paw pad with the name of the author – ROALD DAHL.

ROALD DAHL wrote The BFG in 1982 and children (and parents) have loved him and his story.

He befriended Sophie and they lived in Giant Country – where as Sophie says BFG was so kind – and here we have dressed him in green trousers, white shirt, brown waistcoat and matching belt – and big brown shoes.
And remember DISNEY made a superb fantasy adventure film called THE BFG which is directed and produced by STEVEN SPIELBERG.
